Some examples: the “Salar de Uyuni”, the world’s largest salt flat, located in the Potosi region, and the “Titicaca”, the highest navigable lake in the world and also a beautiful and much-venerated sacred place that lies on the border between Peru and Bolivia, near Copacabana.
