What people are saying about Breckenridge Lodge

My husband and I stayed here for vacation from 3/11 - 3/15 and had a wonderful time. We paid a little extra for the Sunlight Peak suite and the views were out of this world!!! The room was very clean as well, and the bed was comfortable. We experienced our first CO blizzard on 3/13 and looking out at the whiteout conditions was very enjoyable thanks to the view from our room :) We ate at the onsite restaurant Traverse several times (for both dinner and breakfast) and it did not disappoint in any way. The restaurant has out of this world views of the Rockies which makes your evening dinner experience that much more special . The shuttle service offered by this hotel is AWESOME! You simply call the shuttle number whenever you want to go in town, and they are there to pick you up in a matter of minutes. We took advantage of this service the whole week we were there. The drivers never acted annoyed that you were calling them, even if it was multiple times a day. For the duration of our trip, Justen was both our shuttle driver and dinner server. He was FANTASTIC and went out of his way to ensure we had a nice vacation. We had plenty of laughs and good conversation with him:) Joey, the bartender, served us a few times as well and was very polite and professional

This is a beautiful rustic lodge that sits high on a hill opposite the ski area at Breckenridge. The staff here is very accommodating and helpful. I thought maybe being a bit outside of the main activity would be a hindrance but not so. The shuttle drivers are so fantastic you were never more than a few minutes away from the action plus you don't have to do any of the driving.

The rooms are large and tastefully decorated in a mountain lodge feel. The breakfast included with the room was very good and great before heading out to the slopes. I found the beds to be very comfortable and conducive to sleep.

Alas, I did not have a great view that you hear so much about. It might have something to do with the fact that I booked very late and probably got the last room available. If you want a great view, you don't want to stay in room #109 which only looks out at the parking lot. Besides the view, nothing else in the room was skimped on at all. Next time I will be sure to book earlier!

The restaurant/breakfast buffet does have a great view looking out over the surrounding hills so you can soak in the mountain splendor while filling up for a great day of skiing

This was an awesome experience. We really liked our bar tender Fian. Awesome job thanks for taking care of us. The customer service has been outstanding and very accommodating. The food is very good. Room service was on point. Highly recommend staying here
